This lovely vintage Beni Ouarain carpet, which has a subtle butter hue with tints of light caramel, is packed full of motifs, with an emphasis on the ‘female’ lozenge network. Yet it also introduces a strong ‘male’ influence with its crosses and ladder motifs. Borders run along both sides. This gorgeous carpet is knotted in a high pile of warm buttercream and dark brown 100% wool. The pile is an excellent quality double twist, and this rug is in nice condition with some subtle marks on the reverse and soft henna marking in the fringe
