This lovely genuine Berber carpet has a gorgeous loose symmetry based on the traditional lozenge motif: the soft grid of these classic symbols meanders gently through the rug. The equally loose texture gives the rug the feel of a Berber sleeping mat. The deep cream wool pile is all-natural, as is the dark brown wool used for the composition. In good condition, with a fine cotton warp, it has a few subtle (really rather tiny) light red marks and some gentle markings on the back
