This is a very gorgeous and old rare Ourika Valley kilim likely to date from around the 1950s. Woven in dark and light brown and mocha pure natural undyed hues it features delicate Berber geometric designs. The warm Ourika Valley is located in the Moroccan High Atlas mountains. This lovely piece is woven in fine hand-spun wool (both sheep and goat) with some cotton and is a truly beautiful item, with some restoration and 3 visible henna and tea marks from its past life
