A gloriously original and soft handwoven vintage carpet dating from about the 1970s, with a thick cosy pile and a deep and dark colour story. A lovely geometric pattern composed of multi-colored lozenges fills the carpet and (unusually) the pile is woven on a black cotton base. So full of character. Two areas of restoration as well as some colour run throughout. Woven in 100% pure hand-spun wool
