A very beautiful and thick large Berber sleeping rug with wonderfully bold and deep colour and pattern. Complex old designs and striking symbols fill the rug which – unusually - is knotted in a combination of wool and mixed fibres. The classic Berber ‘female’ motifs (variations on lozenges, crosses, etc) are bordered by an assertive edge pattern. In nice vintage condition, there are two small visible repairs
