While there is a loose freedom to the composition it is also nicely detailed with the ‘cedar tree’ (or ‘tree of life’ symbol) motifs forming orderly lines. In nice vintage condition, with some subtle age-related marks here and there, this gorgeous rug is woven in wool and mixed fibres
