A playful and adventurous old rug from central-southern Morocco. Probably mid-century or 1960s, the complex composition is beautifully put together and features a central design of large cross-type symbols, surrounded by small lozenge, checkerboard, and triangle motifs. Woven in fine cotton on a base of recycled textiles, there is wear throughout giving this old and authentic Berber rug a full on charm
