A simply beautiful and heavy vintage rug from central Morocco with monochromatic glory. Created in varying and undulating tones of true red pure wool (darker and deeper than it appears here), its base is strong re-purposed cotton. Here and there cotton strands from the base peek through - blue, white, charcoal - giving the piece genuine textural interest. In great condition, this rug speaks of the region from which it came, with its red earth and carefully handwoven homemade carpets
