An unusually soft and deeply coloured vintage rug from the region around the city of Boujad. The knotted pile is hand spun and the design echoes both Berber and Arab symbology, with a heavy reliance on the beautiful lozenge and diamond motifs contained on two sides with charcoal borders. It is in very good condition and dates from around the late 1990s

Size: 3.14m plus fringe by 1.72m or 10’4’’ plus fringe by 5’8’’ (slightly uneven shape)
