This luxurious original vintage rug with an abstract bent has a thick dense pile and naive meandering Berber symbols based on a central chain of large asymmetrical lozenge motifs. Its irregular shape speaks of an original tribal rug very much woven for personal use. Woven in pure wool on a cotton base, with a couple of visible restorations and some gentle colour run
