A truly joyful and rare mid-century rug with the traditional Berber lozenge symbols strung together in irregular rows. Soft forest and mossy green hues combine with a shot here and there of red and maroon along with sun-faded teal blue. With a fine silky pile, of both cotton and wool, there is extensive restoration that can mostly be seen on the back of the rug. In addition, the wool in the design has worn down faster than the cotton giving a fanatic textural effect
