A beautiful and authentic vintage carpet (circa 1960s) that is woven in a subtle sun-faded red pure wool pile on a thick cotton base comprising re-purposed textiles. Little tufts of the re-purposed cotton base peek out from the pile. This is a lovely example of very personal domestic Berber weaving, combining pure wool and recycled cotton. With wear throughout, it is in nice original vintage condition
