A very beautiful long Berber tent pillow dating from the 1960-70s. The face is woven with gorgeously fine geometric motifs based on the lozenge symbol, with pink-tinged cotton used to mark out the design as well as to create fluffy edging. Like the best old tent pillow, this was woven as one piece, then folded and closed on three sides with delicate plaited edging. There are a few tiny marks in the fluffy edging at one end, most likely from the sequins that were once attached. This lovely cushion comes filled with a poly fibre filling, and then stitched closed
